None of my neighbours said anything about the strange noises. They've been awfully nice to me since my mother passed away. I have no idea why, it's not like I'm sad about it or anything. Regardless, I decided to entice the creature up into the attic, there's more insulation up there and I reckon that that'll help drown out the noise that it makes when it gets angry. It wasn't an easy task. I had to block the staircase and board up the windows so that it wouldn't try to escape, don't want it running about in the streets! I put some pork chops up in the attic and opened its door using an extension cord. It took ages to go up the ladder, I'm sure that it could smell Molly's blood. The difficult part was getting the attic trapdoor shut. The thing took a swipe at me but luckily it missed.

After that, I went to the shop to see if I could "accidentally" bump into David again. Unfortunately it was his day off.

On the way back, I got the feeling I was being watched, but then, I get that feeling a lot. My mother used to say I was afraid of my own shadow. My brother thinks that I'm paranoid. But is it paranoia if you're right? My brother said I was paranoid when I told him that Molly was snooping through my stuff and look how that turned out.

Speaking of William, he says he's going to drop off my Christmas present on Monday. He's taking his new wife, Gloria, to Paris for Christmas weekend. It'll be the first Christmas that we've ever spent apart.
I hate Gloria. She's trying to turn my brother into something that he isn't. She's trying to turn him into this "family man with responsibilities". For crying out loud, he's only twenty six. She'll be wanting to have a baby with him soon, you mark my words. I bet the Paris trip was her idea, the manipulating bitch.

Oh, thanks for replying. I knew that you meant for me to keep a traditional diary but I thought that sending my ramblings to you might help you out if your problem returns. Strength in numbers and all that. And you can post it anywhere you like, as long as you change the names.

Also, I never got the chance to thank you for the food you sent. It was very thoughtful. I was losing it for a while back there, wasn't I?

You don't have to reply to me often, unless you have something to important to say. I know that you're busy.

I'll talk to you tomorrow.
